With Love, Edith

This painting was inspired by my endless love of the Rococo style, particularly the curvy lines, scenes of nature and overall light-hearted playfulness of the imagery. While creating this painting I imagined a flirtatious courtesan in an elaborate garden waiting for her secret lover. The title eludes to a love letter written and signed by Edith.

"With Love, Edith" measures 12" x 16" and was painted with watercolor, gouache, and oil glazes on Arches 140lb cold press watercolor paper, mounted to a cradled wood panel measuring 1" deep. 

The painting comes signed, varnished, and ready to hang.
